RULES OF USE – QUICK OVERVIEW

ENTERTAINER with HSBC Offers:

Can be used seven days a week, at any time during the issuing merchant’s trading hours. Refer to point 10 for exclusion days.
Can be redeemed by a minimum of 2 people (excluding some Beauty & Fitness and Retail & Services Offers and some offers on percentage discount).
Up to 4 Offers can be redeemed at one time for a group of 8 people or more
Should be presented before payment or requesting the bill and is only valid when payment is made with a HSBC credit or debit card.
Are not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special menu items or loyalty/rewards programmes.
These Rules of Use are drafted in the English language. If translated into any other language other than English, the English language version shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.

RULES OF USE – IN FULL

The use of all ENTERTAINER with HSBC Offers (“Offers”) by ENTERTAINER with HSBC Customers who have purchased access to the ENTERTAINER with HSBC (“Member(s)”) is subject to these Rules of Use (“Rules”). Members should read these Rules carefully before using any Offer.

1. Cinema Offers

Cinema products are percentage discount offers at participating cinema outlets in the UK only (“Cinema Offer”). These Cinema Offers also include the following non-cinema products:

Online movie streaming voucher at chili.com and Rakuten TV
Audiobook voucher at Kobo Audiobooks
Magazine subscriptions voucher at iSubscribe, Readly.com
Grooming voucher at Grüum.com
Voucher at The Silverstone Heritage Experience
Environmental offers at maboo.com

Redeeming a Cinema Offer on your HSBC with ENTERTAINER website is very simple:

Select your chosen Cinema outlet on the HSBC with ENTERTAINER website.
Click ‘view offer.’
Enter the first six digits of your HSBC card to validate the Offer
Once validated, click ‘redeem’ which will take you directly to the booking page
After choosing your tickets, scroll down and click ‘purchase.’
If you are not already signed into your HSBC with ENTERTAINER account, you will need to sign in at this point
Once the sign-in is complete simply enter your HSBC card details and click ‘confirm and pay’ to complete the payment
Your tickets will be emailed to you where you will need to go to the website of the cinema.
Select your movie and show timing.
When paying enter the code emailed to you to avail your Offer.
Enjoy your movie.

To review your previous bookings, select the merchant page and tap on ‘manage my bookings’
Redeemed Cinema Offers are not inclusive of any applicable service charges/taxes including but not limited to VAT, GST etc. (as applicable) and will be separately charged by merchants in compliance with local tax regulations/laws.
If the booking returns an error message, please contact the cinema directly.

2. Chili Offers

The offer must be activated by 31.12.2022 and the credit on the offer used by 31.12.2022.
The vouchers give customers the opportunity to rent movies in all formats for an amount of £10 within the whole digital movie catalogue.
The offer is open to new and existing Chili customers.
The promotional credit can be used only for Digital Rental. The promotional credit cannot be used to purchase films and TV series Movies and products from eStore.
Customers can only activate one code at a time. Codes can’t be used in association with other promotions though a customer can purchase and use as many codes as they wish.
If the residual promotional credit is not enough to rent a movie, customers can pay the missing amount using one of the other payment methods available on Chili.
Customers can watch their movie within 28 days from the point of selection and 48 hours from the first “play”.
Movies can be viewed either on Chili website or via the Chili app.
When redeeming an offer, customers must comply with the general terms and conditions set up in that same offer from Chili.

3. Redeeming Your 2 for 1 Offers

Redeeming an Offer is very simple:
1. Select your chosen Offer for use
2. Present your mobile device with the chosen Offer to the server before ordering, to check how the offers work and which items on the menu can be redeemed using the selected Offer.
3. Present your mobile device with the chosen Offer to the server before the bill being presented
4. The merchant is prompted to enter their PIN. COVID distancing measures also allow you to ask the merchant to provide you with the PIN to enter on your device yourself.
5. Once the merchant has entered their PIN, the Offer will be redeemed, and the item or service will be removed from your bill.
To redeem more Offers, simply repeat the same process

Each Offer is non-depletable and must be used by a minimum of 2 people (excluding some Beauty & Fitness and Retail & Services Offers).

A maximum of 4 Offers may be used per visit/booking/table for a group of 8+. Refer to the below table:

Number of Vouchers

You would like to a selected merchant for lunch. There are two offers listed under that merchant chosen as follows:

Offer 1: Main Menu Item
Offer 2: Lunch Buffet

If you would like to enjoy the 2-for-1 Lunch Buffet (not available in Singapore and Malaysia), you can enjoy only one free Lunch Buffet when two persons dine in. However, if you have a party of 4 and wish to enjoy 2-for-1 Lunch Buffet, then another person in your party of 4 would also need to have the ENTERTAINER with HSBC platform so they can utilize their Offer (1 offer can be redeemed for one free Lunch Buffet in this scenario). If you are unsure, please do check with the respective merchant prior to ordering.

In the case of a dispute, the bill must be settled as per local law.

4. Offer Validity

Offers are valid through to 30th December 2020 and each year thereafter , unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to remove and/or amend an Offer at any time and cannot be held responsible or liable in any way if an Offer is withdrawn or amended from the platform.
Offers are only redeemable with the issuing merchant and venue
Offers apply only to the items/services and location(s) specified on the Offer
Offers are exclusive and not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special offers or dining/loyalty/employee/rewards programmes
Offers do not apply to any additional service charges or taxes.
Offers are valid seven days a week any time during the issuing merchant’s trading hours unless specified on the Offer, Refer to point 10 for exclusion days.

Unauthorized reproduction, resale or modification of any Offer is prohibited. Offers are void if resold or bartered
Offers are not redeemable for cash.

5. Food & Drink Offers

A Main Course/Main Menu Item is defined as the main element of a customer’s lunch or dinner – i.e. not a starter, side dish or dessert. We are not responsible for the specific layout/design of a merchant’s menu. If in doubt, clarify with the server before ordering.
One Offer can be used to redeem one qualified item only unless otherwise specified
One Offer can be used by two people, up to a maximum of 4 Offers per table, for a group of 8 people or more (see Table 1). This Rule applies regardless of the product the Offer is from. E.g. a group of 4 people can redeem 2 Main Course Offers at a restaurant. Alternatively, they can redeem 1 Cheers Offer and 1 Main Course Offer - redeeming a maximum 2 Offers in total.
The least expensive item (as listed on the Offer) will be deducted. The two items must be from the same category as marked on the Offer, e.g. buy one “Main Course” and get one “Main Course” free, or buy one “Sushi Set Lunch” and get one “Sushi Set Lunch” free, or buy one “House Beverage” and get one “House Beverage” free.
Only one bill will be presented per table per group. No splitting of bills will be allowed.
Offers are valid solely for the item listed and are not valid for special events (e.g. Iftar, Suhoor, buffets, set price brunch menu, theme nights, special menus or in conjunction with B.Y.O), unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
Offers are not redeemable for breakfast, starters, side dishes, desserts or shared platters unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
Offers are not valid for delivery or takeaway unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
Discounts do not apply to service charges
No corkage is allowed unless otherwise specified
Offers contained in Informal Dining & Take-away can be used by one person unless otherwise specified

6. Attractions & Leisure Offers

Our Attractions & Leisure section on the ENTERTAINER with HSBC website are two types of Offers: ”Buy One Get One Free” and “Discount Offers.”
A maximum of 4 Offers can be redeemed per booking/visit for a group of 8 people or more (see Table 1)
“Discount Offers” can be used against the service/item/activity mentioned on the voucher. The discount will apply only on standard rates/prices and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or special offers. These Offers would need to be presented before the service/item/activity is purchased.
Terms & Conditions may vary with a number of activities, so please refer to the individual merchant/outlet for confirmation of minimum/maximum number of people, age restrictions, safety guidelines and other conditions
Prior booking may be required for certain offers and activities
Offers will not be valid on any public holiday, in local country.

7. Beauty & Fitness Offers

Our Beauty and Fitness section has two types of Offers: ”Buy One Get One Free” and ”Discount Offers.”
“Buy One Get One Free” can be redeemed in two ways:
1. 1. One Offer can be used by two people within the same visit, with the second treatment or service being complimentary
2. 2. One Offer can be used by an individual, whereby you must pay full price for the first treatment/service and your second treatment/service will be complimentary on your next visit. The merchant provides a voucher for the second treatment/service to be used on another visit. The complimentary treatment/service must be redeemed within the Offer validity period. Please note: gift vouchers cannot be issued for your complimentary treatment/service. The complimentary treatment/service is non-transferable.
”Discount Offers” can be used against the service/item mentioned on the voucher. The discount will apply only on standard rates/prices and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, special Offer or voucher. These Offers would need to be presented before the service/item is purchased.
Please present the Offer upon arrival or prior to the commencement of any class or activity. ,

8. Fashion & Retail Offers

There are two types of offers in this section: “Discount Offers” and “Spend This Get That” Offers.

When redeeming the “Discount Offers” from the Fashion & Retail section, you will be given the discount off on the item/service mentioned on the voucher
When redeeming one of the “Spend This Get That” Offers, you will have to spend the amount mentioned on the Offer in order to receive the mentioned discount off your bill

Offers in the Fashion & Retail section are valid solely on the service/item mentioned on the voucher and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions or discounts
A maximum of 4 vouchers can be redeemed per visit/bill as long as the requirements mentioned on the voucher are met.

9. Everyday Services Offers

There are two types of Offers for Everyday Services: “Discount Offers” and “Spend This Get That” Offers
1. When redeeming the “Discount Offers” from the Everyday Services section, you will be given the discount on the item/service mentioned on the voucher
2. When redeeming one of the “Spend This Get That” Offers, you will have to spend the amount mentioned on the Offer in order to receive the mentioned discount off your bill
Offers in the Everyday Services section are valid solely on the service/item mentioned on the voucher and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions or discounts
A maximum of 4 vouchers can be redeemed per visit/bill as long as the requirements mentioned on the voucher are met.

10. Travel Offers

ENTERTAINER getaways - HOTEL RATES & DISCOUNTS ONLINE

ENTERTAINER getaways provide a choice of thousand hotels around the globe on a new online booking platform. Search, book and pay for hotels with discount offers and rates and make bookings directly from the ENTERTAINER with HSBC website.

Note: Not all hotels provide a discount offer. Filter your search by hotels with the highest discount in your chosen destination.

11. Exclusion Days

Offers can be used seven days a week, excluding any public holidays as announced by the applicable governments (and subject to merchant’s discretion). All public holidays are determined as per the governments’ laws.

13. General

The barter, trade, sale, purchase or transfer for compensation of this product or any of its Offers or contents by any person or entity, including but not limited to travel services, travel providers, and distributors of the product or any of its Offers, is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized by HSBC Bank and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies. The product and its Offers and other content are intended for the non- profit use of the individual purchaser of the Offers. Additionally, the use of the product or any of its Offers for advertising purposes is strictly prohibited. Any use of the Offers in violation of this Rules will render the Offers void, and HSBC Bank and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies will avail itself of any and all legal remedies available to it. Offers may not be reproduced and are void where prohibited or restricted by law. HSBC Bank and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies will not be responsible for the closing down or refusal of any merchant to accept the Offers; however, we will use reasonable efforts to rectify the situation, to the extent possible. HSBC Bank and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies will not be responsible in the event that acts of God, fire casualties, illness, injury or other events beyond its control, prevent you from using any Offer.
